The same is also if you are visiting Prishtina or other Kosovo cities, let alone Albania which I think you would be considered simply a foreigner. However I have had a hard time to convince my Serbian friends to visit Kosovo, simply because they have "heard" that in Kosovo they will obliterate you if you are a serb.
Semi-formal. Charles pub. Live music and dj. Huge crowd of people. Not expensive. You need to look presentable or bodyguards wont let you in. Might wait in line if you get in after 10pm. Cinco Cavalli- Expensive. Biggest artists perform there. 3 sections. Peasants/Rave atmosphere.
8 weeks is quite a lot of time. If you have anything more then 5 days in Albania I strongly suggest you go north to Shkoder, the mountains of Albania are absolutely breathtaking, in fact I'd suggest you go there instead of the Riverina, look up the Koman lake ferry and Valbona national park on google, if you like hiking you can hike a relatively easy and super insanely, mind-numbing beautiful
Just needed a bit of clarity on the feasability of the itinerary and how long to stay in certain places. Days 1-3 â Arrive late at night in Gjirokaster from Greece. Spend (technically) 3 nights there and 2 days. Days 4-5 â Gjirokaster to Himare. 2 nights/2 days in Himare. Day 9 â Berat to Tirana.
For what itâs worth, levels 1 and 2 are good to go generally. Just do more research on regional differences and be smart looking like a tourist. Many places in the US would EASILY be level 2.

Dec 23, 2023 ¡ Albania has a Mediterranean climate, which means super-hot summers (July-August), with a daily temperature averaging over 32°C (90°F), mild winters on the coast, and cold winters in the mountains (November-February). The best time to visit Albania is during the spring (May-June) or fall (September-October).
The only place stuff is expensive especially in winter is in Tirana. You can generally eat great in a lot of places. For example seafood in Pireu, or Sea Soul, luxurious and great taste Meat there are a lot of places such as Lift, Gzona, Pagus, Tribe, Otium Not expensive but also great and very tasty Terracotta, Artigiano Vila Traditional chicken with rice or pasta country style imo at Vila
Jan 18, 2023 ¡ There are also some other fantastic attractions close to Ksamil which are definitely worth a visit if youâre traveling here. Butrint National Park, Albaniaâs first UNESCO World Heritage Site, is just 10-15 minutes from Ksamil. If you want to visit Ksamil, I recommend taking this 1-day private day trip from Tirana. Youâll relax on the best
So I plan on visiting Montenegro and Albania for a month. I have a Itinerary set up and wondering if I should skip Ulcinj since I will already spend a lot of time at the beach and I have heard mixed things about it. My itinerary (not counting travel days) 4 days in Budva (with day trips to Kotor and Perast) 2 days Ulcinj
